The cryptic melodies and driving jangle-pop of Athens, Georgia are finding a new home in the City of Angels. Moon Men, a premier tribute to the legendary R.E.M. announces it’s arrival to the Southern California music scene.

Naming themselves after the iconic “Man on the Moon”, the band is dedicated to capturing and delivering the raw energy of R.E.M.’s IRS years and the stadium-filling grandeur of their Warners Bros era. From the murky mysteries of Murmur to the mandolin heavy anthems of Out of Time, Moon Men deliver a high-fidelity journey of more than three decades of alternative rock history.
